The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the Room Assignments: PNLE February 2026 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination. The exam will be on February 26 and 27, 2026, in the cities of NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Ilocos Sur, Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Urdaneta (Pangasinan).

Things to Prepare and Bring on the Examination Day

  • Notice of Admission
  • Official Receipt
  • Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
  • Ball pens with BLACK ink only
  • One (1) piece long brown envelope
  • One (1 ) piece Long Transparent (non-colored) Plastic Envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items).

Proper Dress Code on Examination Day

The specific dress code for the male and female examinee is without any logo or plain tuck-in polo t-shirt and a white blouse or shirt with a collar. Both examinees are advised to wear comfortable slack or decent pants.

  • Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula (except Rules VII and VIII of the 2004 Revised IRR of P.D. No. 1096/1977 NBCP as qualified below)
  • Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, wireless earplugs, and other electronic devices that are used for communication.
  • Bags of any kind.
  • Other examination aides are not stated in the program.

The coverage of the exam is the following:

This Nurse Licensure Examination consists of five (5) parts namely:

  • Nursing Practice I-Care of Individuals, Families, Population Groups and Community (Community Health Nursing);
  • Nursing Practice II Part 1 – Care of Mother, Adolescent (Well Clients), At Risk or With Problems (Acute & Chronic) and Part 2 – Human Growth and Development;
  • Nursing Practice III-Care of Clients with Problems in Surgery, Oxygenation, Fluid and Electrolytes, Infectious, Inflammatory and Immunologic Response, Cellular Aberrations (Acute and Chronic);
  • Nursing Practice IV- Care of Client with Problems in Nutrition, and Gastro-Intestinal, Metabolism and Endocrine. Perception and Coordination (Acute and Chronic); and Nursing Practice V-Care of Clients with Maladaptive Patterns of Behavior (Acute and Chronic); Care of Clients with Life-Threatening Condition, Acutely Ill/Multi-Organ Problems, High Acuity and Emergency Situation.
  • The tests draw basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas i.e., Fundamentals of Nursing including Professional Adjustments, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health and Communicable Disease Nursing, Nursing of Adolescents, Adults and Aged, and Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.
  • The following areas of knowledge will be integrated in each of the above-named subject areas: Anatomy and Physiology Nutrition and Diet Therapy Pathophysiology Parasitology and Microbiology Pharmacology and Therapeutics
