The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is expected to release List of Passers: CSE-PPT Professional and Subprofessional August 2026 Civil Service Exam Results, which includes the list of passers, topnotchers, and the performance of schools on or before October 12, 2026.
Verification of Rating (List of Passers: CSE-PPT Professional and Subprofessional August 2026 Civil Service Exam Results)
Examinees are advised to keep their examination details handy, particularly their examination date, examination level (Professional or Subprofessional), and place of examination. These details may be required when accessing the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) to retrieve individual examination ratings. Examinees should check the results after the official date of release. For the August 2026 CSE-PPT, the list of successful examinees is scheduled to be released on October 12, 2026. This is the date when the official list of passers is expected to become available. Those who want to view their individual ratings should use OCSERGS on or before October 12, 2026. After the indicated availability period, the system may no longer accept new requests for generating examination ratings. Examinees are therefore encouraged to check and save their ratings as soon as the system becomes available.

CSE-PPT Coverage
The Civil Service Examination–Paper-and-Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) for both the Professional and Subprofessional levels covers several areas designed to assess the examinees’ general knowledge, reasoning skills, language proficiency, and numerical ability. For the Professional level, the examination covers Numerical Ability, which includes basic operations and word problems; Analytical Ability, which covers logic, data interpretation, assumptions, and conclusions; and Verbal Ability, which includes grammar, vocabulary, paragraph organization, and reading comprehension. These areas are tested in both English and Filipino.
For the Subprofessional level, the examination covers Numerical Ability, including basic operations and word problems; Clerical Ability, which focuses on spelling and filing; and Verbal Ability, covering grammar, vocabulary, paragraph organization, and reading comprehension. These areas are likewise presented in English and Filipino.
In addition to these specific competencies, both the Professional and Subprofessional examinations include General Information questions. These cover important topics such as the Philippine Constitution, the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees under Republic Act No. 6713, peace and human rights issues and concepts, and environmental management and protection.
The Professional level consists of 170 test items, with a time allotment of 3 hours and 10 minutes. The Subprofessional level consists of 165 test items, with a time allotment of 2 hours and 40 minutes.
