The List of Requirements for Geodetic Engineers states that first-time applicants must submit their PSA Birth Certificate. Married female applicants must also submit their PSA Marriage Contract. They are also required to submit their Transcript of Records (TOR) with a scanned picture and the remark “For Board Examination Purposes.” This requirement applies to both first-time applicants and repeaters.
Applicants who have failed the examination three times may be allowed to take the examination again only after one year has passed from the date of their last examination.
For the examination payment, the fee is ₱900.00 for a complete examination and ₱450.00 for a conditioned or removal examination.
For repeaters, the same documentary requirements apply: a PSA Birth Certificate, a PSA Marriage Contract for married female applicants, and a TOR with a scanned picture and the remark “For Board Examination Purposes.” Repeaters who have failed three times are also subject to the one-year waiting period before they may be allowed to take the examination again.

- Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, wireless earplugs, and other electronic devices that are used for communication.
- Bags of any kind.

The September 2026 Geodetic Engineering Licensure Examination covers five subjects, each worth 20%: Laws, Rules and Regulations; Mathematics; Theory and Practice of Surveying; Geodesy; and Cartography.
