The exam will be on September 20, 2026, in the cities of NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Antique, Bacolod, Batanes, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Marinduque, Mati, Nueva Vizcaya, Oroquieta (Misamis Occidental), Romblon, Roxas, San Jose (Occidental Mindoro), Tagum, Valencia, Santiago and Municipality of Balangkayan, Eastern Samar.

The September 20, 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) covers General Education, Professional Education, and Specialization, with the coverage and weight depending on the examinee’s level. For Elementary Teacher examinees without specialization, the examination consists of General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%). For Elementary Teacher examinees with specialization, the coverage is General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%), and Specialization (40%). For Secondary Teacher examinees, the examination covers General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%), and Specialization (40%), for a total of 100%. The examination is scheduled on Sunday, September 20, 2026, with General Education from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Professional Education from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Specialization from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., where applicable.

Proper Dress Code on Examination Day – Room Assignments: Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers LEPT September 2026

The specific dress code for the male and female examinee is without any logo or plain tuck-in polo t-shirt and a white blouse or shirt with a collar. Both examinees are advised to wear comfortable slack or decent pants.

Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, wireless earplugs, and other electronic devices that are used for communication.
