October 2024 Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination GELE Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is expected to release the October 2024 Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination GELE Results held on October 17 and 18, 2024., which includes the list of passers, topnotchers, and performance of schools on October 23, 2024.

Initial Registration for Licensure Examination for October 2024 Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination GELE

The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration online will be updated later. PRC has advised the examinees to complete the following requirements and follow the steps in the initial registration. Therefore, successful examinees will be included in the Rooster of Registered Professionals.

  • Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal.
  • Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos on a white background with the complete name tag.
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamps.
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope.

Verification of Rating (October 2024 Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination GELE)

The face-to-face oath-taking is on November 19, 2024. Successful examinees shall register no later than 12:00 noon before the date of the oath-taking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance. It will be announced the exact date of face-to-face or virtual oath-taking later. Furthermore, the inductees are required to bring either the vaccination card or the negative PT-PCR results taken within 48 hours prior to the schedule of oath-taking. Don’t forget to confirm the attendance, whether virtual or face-to-face, in the regions where it took their licensure examination.

Licensure Examination (October 2024 Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination GELE):

The PRC provided the covered topics for the licensure examination:

  • General Geology, such as covering the earth as a planet; structural geology and plate Tectonics theory; earth materials; earth processes and landforms; and stratigraphy, historical geology; geology of the Philippines and Asia/Southeast Asia.

    Petrology and mineralogy such as covering chemistry; crystallography; physical and optical; properties of minerals; petrographic techniques; common rock-forming minerals (silicates and non-silicates); igneous, sedimentary, and Metamorphic Rocks; and identification of samples of rocks and minerals.

    Applied Geology such as covering geologic resources and geologic application (mapping, exploration methods, geohazards, hydrogeology, environmental and engineering geology; analytical methods and tools and geology as a profession – preparation of geologic reports); laws and policies relevant to the practice of geology; environmental; and engineering geology.
