The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the Room Assignments: Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination RMELE September 2026. The exam will be on September 07, 2026, in the cities of NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
List of Requirements – Registered Master Electricians
First-Time Applicants: First-time applicants for the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination must meet the degree or course requirements provided under Section 18 of R.A. No. 7920. For documentary requirements, applicants must submit their PSA Birth Certificate and, in the case of married female applicants, their PSA Marriage Certificate/Contract. They must also submit their Transcript of Records (TOR) indicating the name of the course, date of graduation, and S.O. (B) number, unless they are exempt because the course is accredited by CHED, TESDA, or DECS, or because they graduated from a state school or college. High school graduates may submit their Diploma instead. An NBI Clearance, valid for at least six (6) months on the day of filing the application, is also required.
Applicants must likewise submit a Certificate of Employment with Certificate of Experience, or any equivalent document proving the required years of apprenticeship. Those who have completed three (3) years of a BSEE or engineering technology course must have at least one (1) year of apprenticeship; those who completed a two-year vocational electrician’s course must have two (2) years of apprenticeship; those who completed a one-year vocational electrician’s course must have three (3) years of apprenticeship; and high school graduates must have five (5) years of apprenticeship.
Applicants must also submit a Certificate or Affidavit showing their specific record of practice. For TESDA certification, any of the following may be submitted: NC II Electrical Installation and Maintenance; NC II Electrical Power Distribution Line Construction; NC III Electrical Installation and Maintenance; or NC III Electrical Power Distribution Operation and Maintenance. Alternatively, applicants may submit certification through an Accredited Integrated Professional Organization (AIPO). For AIPO certification, two documents are required: first, a Certification and Affidavit from the instructor, trainer, or supervisor who is a registered electrical practitioner; and second, a Certification from the AIPO validating and concurring with the legitimacy of the registered electrical practitioner who issued the apprenticeship affidavit.
Repeaters: Applicants who are repeating the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination are required to submit an NBI Clearance that is valid for at least six (6) months on the day of filing the application.

- Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, wireless earplugs, and other electronic devices that are used for communication.

The September 2026 Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) Licensure Examination covers Engineering Sciences and Allied Subjects (30%), Electrical Engineering Professional Subjects (45%), and Mathematics (25%). Engineering Sciences and Allied Subjects include General Chemistry, College Physics, Engineering Materials, Engineering Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Economics and Management, Electrical Engineering Law and Code of Ethics, Contracts and Specifications, Computer Fundamentals and Programming, and the Philippine Electrical Code, Parts 1 and 2. Electrical Engineering Professional Subjects include electrical materials, passive and active circuit elements, AC and DC circuits, instruments and measurements, generators, energy conversion, rotating electric machinery, power systems, transmission and distribution, substations, wiring design, power electronics, industrial electronics, illumination, telecommunications, and computer applications in the electrical power industry. Mathematics includes Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytic Geometry, Differential and Integral Calculus, Complex Numbers and Space Vectors, Probability and Statistics, Matrices and Determinants, Sequences and Series, Differential Equations, Fourier Series, Laplace Transforms, and other engineering mathematics topics. For the Registered Master Electricians (RME) Licensure Examination, the coverage consists of Technical Subjects (50%), including Basic Electricity, RA 7920, electrical measurements, lighting, wiring and materials, fuses, breakers, switches, motors, generators, transformers, transmission and distribution lines, substations, and Ohm’s Law, and Philippine Electrical Code, Parts 1 and 2 (50%), covering installation requirements, wiring methods and materials, wiring devices, ampacity and protection, equipment, special occupancies and equipment, lighting and wiring, motor and generator connections, communications and signaling wiring, electrical safety, and related provisions.
