Room Assignments: Social Worker Licensure Examination SWLE September 2026

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the Room Assignments: Social Worker Licensure Examination SWLE September 2026. The exam will be on September 09, 10, and 11, 2026, in the cities of NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

List of Requirements – Social Workers

First-Time Applicants: First-time applicants for the Social Workers Licensure Examination must submit a Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-issued Birth Certificate and, for married female applicants, a PSA-issued Marriage Certificate/Contract. They must also submit a Transcript of Records (TOR) with a scanned photograph, S.O. No. (unless exempted), and the remark “For Board Examination Purposes.” An original and photocopy of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance are also required.

Applicants must likewise submit a Certificate of 1,000 Case Hours of Supervised Field Instruction. The certificate must be signed by the Agency Field Supervisor (AFS) or, if the AFS is unavailable or does not have a valid PRC license, by the Faculty Supervisor. It must further be certified by the current Field Instruction Coordinator or current Head of the Social Work Program, who must have an updated Professional Identification Card (PIC). The examination payment for a complete application is ₱900.00.

Repeaters: Applicants who are repeating the examination must submit an original and photocopy of the NBI Clearance and a Certificate of 1,000 Case Hours of Supervised Field Instruction. The certificate must be signed by the AFS or, when the AFS is unavailable or has no valid PRC license, by the Faculty Supervisor, and must be further certified by the current Field Instruction Coordinator or Head of the Social Work Program with an updated PIC.

Proper Dress Code on Examination Day – Room Assignments: Social Worker Licensure Examination SWLE September 2026

The specific dress code for the male and female examinee is without any logo or plain tuck-in polo t-shirt and a white blouse or shirt with a collar. Both examinees are advised to wear comfortable slack or decent pants.

Calculators that have embedded programs, especially CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus, or any kind of calculators.
Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula (except Rules VII and VIII of the 2004 Revised IRR of P.D. No. 1096/1977 NBCP as qualified below)
Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, wireless earplugs, and other electronic devices that are used for communication.
Bags of any kind.

Coverage of the Exam (Room Assignments: Social Worker Licensure Examination SWLE September 2026)

The September 2026 Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE) covers six major areas, with each subject carrying 20% of the total examination. On September 9, 2026, the coverage includes Human Behavior and Social Environment, followed by Social Welfare Policies, Programs, and Services. On September 10, 2026, the examination covers Social Work Practice I with Field Instruction I and Social Work Methods II (Working with Groups). On September 11, 2026, the final subject is Social Work Practice III with Field Instruction III (Communities). Thus, the six examination areas are equally weighted at 20% each, for a total of 100%.
